CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -A man murdered nearly 60 years ago in Cleveland remains unidentified, and investigators are continuing to try to track down who he was.
In 1969, a child working outside a house near East 93rd Street and Kinsman Road found a barrel containing human remains in acid. The man had been shot nine times and suffered a major hit to his head, according to the medical examiner.
Decades later, the case remains unsolved, and the man remains a John Doe without a name or a family to claim him. The corrosive chemical he was found in deteriorated his body and clothes, but investigators said clues left behind could be enough to identify him…
