TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The city of Troy is putting 15 parcels of city-owned real property up for sale. A live public auction is scheduled for September 23.
The auction will include vacant lots, residential properties, and other parcels throughout the city. All properties will be sold “as is” and “where is” by quitclaim deed.

The 15 parcels scheduled for auction include:
- 3247 Seventh Avenue – Vacant land, approximately .06 acres
- 349 Eighth Street – Vacant land, approximately .08 acres
- 200 Hill Street – Vacant land, approximately .07 acres
- 605 Third Avenue – Five apartments, approximately .10 acres
- 31 114th Street – Detached row building, approximately .09 acres
- 15 112th Street – One-family home, approximately .04 acres
- 478 Sixth Avenue – One-family home, approximately .14 acres
- 745 River Street – Three-family home, approximately .08 acres
- 56 & 58 Valley View Avenue – One-family home, approximately .22 acres
- 2215 Old Sixth Avenue – Two-family home, approximately .08 acres
- 1623 Highland Avenue – Two-family home, approximately .06 acres
- 397 Third Street – Two-family home, approximately .07 acres
- 579 Fourth Street – One-family home, approximately .06 acres
- 353 Fourth Street – Two-family home, approximately .07 acres
- 456 Madison Street – Garage, approximately .09 acres
The minimum bid will be $10,000 for vacant parcels and $25,000 for houses. A 10% deposit will be required at the time of the auction.
All winning bids are subject to approval by the Troy City Council, and city administration may reject the highest bid if the city’s confidential reserve price is not met. The city is also requiring all bidders be current on any money owed to the city, including property taxes, water charges, code enforcement fines, and trash and recycling fees.
