LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Bryan Station dean who pleaded guilty in connection with a road rage incident is no longer employed by Fayette County Public Schools, district leaders said Friday.
Fayette County spokesperson Miranda Scully confirmed with FOX 56 that John “Jay” Bordas was employed with Bryan Station High School from Aug. 16, 2006, to Aug. 24, 2026.

According to court documents, Bordas, 45, allegedly ran a stop sign in February 2025 at the Clearwater Way and Fiddler Creek Way intersection. The victim had to brake “heavily” and drove around Bordas’ vehicle.
When the victim got home, they realized Bordas had reportedly followed them. Court records indicate Bordas pulled into the cul-de-sac, parallel parked, and pointed a gun in the victim’s direction…
