DALLAS, TEXAS — A prolonged stretch of much above normal heat will expand across the Central United States beginning August 30 and build eastward through September 7, with a core zone stretching from Dallas and Houston through Tulsa, Memphis, and St. Louis facing the most extreme conditions, according to BAM Weather.
