Multiple high school cross-country runners treated for heat-related illness in Chandler

Multiple runners were treated for heat-related illness at a high school cross-country meet in Chandler on Saturday morning, authorities said.

Fire crews were called around 9:25 a.m. to a park for multiple patients participating in the 32nd Annual Chandler XC Invite at Tumbleweed Park, according to the Chandler Fire Department.
