SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The fifth annual Health and Wellness Event was held in Syracuse on Saturday. Five different local organizations teamed up to give back to the community. Those organizations are Peace, Inc., CARE, Syracuse Housing Authority, the Brady Faith Center and Meals on Wheels. This was the first time that Peace Inc. joined this partnership.
Lisa Hart, the Grants Management Director for the Syracuse Housing Authority said, “When you join forces, you can have a bigger event and think about all the hundreds of kids.”
