KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Rural Metro Fire is investigating an East Knox County house fire that killed two pets Sunday morning.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. at a house on the 7500 block of Mary Lay Lane.
“Crews were on the scene quickly and were able to confine the fire to the Kitchen, although the rest of the home did sustain smoke damage,” Rural Metro said.
According to officials, there were no human injuries reported, but two pets did die in the home…
