OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One woman was sent to the hospital after an alleged accidental discharged firearm in Douglas County Saturday night.
According to a release from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting at 88th and Kimball streets around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
At a home in the area, deputies found the victim, a 49-year-old woman, suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. The man who fired the gun, aged 50, is the husband of the victim and the one who called in the report, according to the DCSO. The man met with deputies at the scene…
