FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Authorities in Fayetteville have made an arrest after three women were shot amid two failed carjackings that began after daybreak Sunday morning in Cumberland County, north of Fayetteville, police said.
The wild series of events began just around 7 a.m. when a woman was shot at a home in the 700 block of Messenger Drive off Honeycutt Road north of Fayetteville, according to a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The shooting suspect then traveled in a car taken from the Messenger Drive home about 3 miles east to a Hardee’s at 6397 Ramsey St. at the corner of Andrews Road in Fayetteville, officials said…
