YORKTOWN, VA. (WAVY) — Officials at the U.S. Coast Guard’s largest training center in Yorktown say they’re poised to play a vital role in branches future.
With an average of 700 students at any given time and 12,000 students trained per year, Training Center Yorktown is preparing those who protect America’s waterways —from preparing for the worst case scenarios, to weapons and engine training, to virtual simulations and more.
