A company that is owned by a resident of The Villages just purchased over 270 acres of agricultural property in Sumter County for $3.16 million.
According to a deed filed with the Sumter County Clerk of Courts, John and Marjorie Brown, serving as co-trustees of the J. L. Brown Properties Land Trust Agreement established in 1988, sold the land to The Brown Trust Sumter Property, LLC for $3,161,449.55 on July 24.
The 270.02-acre parcel is located in the city of Webster. Although it currently does not have an assigned address, it is just north of County Road 478 E, directly east of the Oak Alley RV Resort, and west of the Florida Grande Motor Coach Resort. It is currently zoned for agricultural use.
State corporate records show that The Brown Trust Sumter Property, LLC maintains a registered mailing address at 218 N. Florida Street, Suite 2, in Bushnell, with Robert A. Sanchez listed as the company’s manager.
