NEW YORK, N.Y. (PIX11) — Tri-state residents nearly had a rain-free final weekend of August, but a low-pressure system decided to throw a few showers into parts of the region on Sunday.
Some additional wet weather is on the way, and the threat of it could stay with us throughout the upcoming week.
As for Sunday evening into Sunday night, you can expect skies to become mostly cloudy. The aforementioned low-pressure system will continue to close in on our area, so a shower or thunderstorm could develop. It may feel a bit sticky in some locations as well.
