State reports measles exposure at Asheville hotel, Hendersonville gas station

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Officials say a measles case has been reported involving a person who traveled through western North Carolina, and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is notifying anyone who may have been exposed.

According to NCDHHS, officials were informed of a measles case in a resident of another state who traveled through Asheville and Hendersonville while infectious.

Officials say anyone who was at the Exxon, located at 1920 Four Seasons Boulevard in Hendersonville, on August 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. may have been exposed and should monitor for symptoms until September 15…
