Firefighters spent several hours battling a large brush fire Friday after it spread out of control on Stones River Lane in Rutherford County.
Rutherford County Fire & Rescue responded to the fire around 12:45 p.m. after it began spreading through the area. Additional resources were called in because of the size and conditions of the fire.
