It’s no secret Lubbock is growing. New houses. New business. New areas of town that were once empty are now thriving. It seems like every time you get in the car, you notice new construction that wasn’t happening yesterday.
But there’s something kind of hilarious about Lubbock construction.
The second you put a fence around a lot of dirt and weeds, everyone in town suddenly becomes amateur detectives.
“What are they building over there?”
“Not another chicken place!”
“We don’t need a carwash. We need rain.”
“I hope it’s not another Dollar General.”
