A St. Paul man is facing a murder charge after allegedly shooting his girlfriend’s brother during an argument about moving a TV on Saturday.
Court filings show 20-year-old Alvin James Smith was charged Monday with one count of second-degree murder in connection with the death of 27-year-old DeMarcus S. Gibson-Beard.
According to the charging documents, police found Gibson-Beard inside a home on the 600 block of Park Street with a gunshot wound to the head just before noon on Saturday. He was taken to the hospital, where he died…
