Arrest Uncovers Large Identity Theft Operation

A Beaverton Police Department investigation that began with the arrest of a wanted man led officers to recover hundreds of pieces of suspected stolen mail and identity-theft evidence, stolen financial documents, credit cards, passports, counterfeit postal keys, drugs, and other suspected stolen property.

On August 14, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a Beaverton Police patrol officer was patrolling the Redwood Creek Apartments on SW Windmill Drive when he recognized Joseph Daniel Gregori exiting a vehicle. The officer knew Gregori had an outstanding felony warrant related to burglary, aggravated theft, forgery and conspiracy charges stemming from investigations in Clackamas County.
