ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- Albany County has banned kratom under an emergency public health order and businesses must remove it from shelves.
The order took effect Tuesday, September 1 and bars any person or business from selling kratom products, including smoke shops, convenience stores, and gas stations. Albany County officials said the order deems kratom a danger to life and health.
