ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — Gov. Kathy Hochul said New York is awarding more than $18.6 million to 10 downtown Albany projects as part of a broader push to add housing and remake key public spaces.
The governor’s office said the funding is part of the $400 million Championing Albany’s Potential initiative. The 10 projects are expected to leverage nearly $97.5 million in other public and private investment and create nearly 300 housing units.
