The body of a 39-year-old Silver Spring woman was recovered Monday afternoon from Lost Lake in Patapsco Valley State Park, according to the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
According to a WBAL report, Natural Resources Police and the Baltimore County Fire Department responded at approximately 3:30pm on Monday, August 31, after receiving a report of a body floating in the water. The body was found in Lost Lake, located in the Glen Artney area of the park in Halethorpe.
Authorities identified the woman as Phuong Lihn Dang. Investigators said she was wearing a blue sweater and denim shorts when she was found. Dang’s body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will determine the cause and manner of her death.
