Aldi’s next NYC store set to open in Brooklyn next week: What shoppers need to know

Aldi is making good on an expansion promise it made in January, opening more than 180 stores across 31 states in 2026. According to the discount grocer’s website, another six locations are about to open soon, including one in Brooklyn.

Located at 535 Morgan Ave. in Greenpoint, the newest NYC store brings Aldi’s presence across the five boroughs to 16 — two in Manhattan, two on Staten Island, five in the Bronx, two in Queens and five in Brooklyn.
