NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Wildlife Federation will bring its Tennessee Wildlife Town Hall Tour to East Tennessee this fall, inviting sportsmen and women, landowners, outdoor businesses, community leaders, elected officials and families to join conversations about the future of the region’s wildlife and great outdoors, including a stop in Chattanooga.
The East Tennessee events are part of an 11-stop statewide tour stretching from Memphis to the Tri-Cities. Each town hall is open to the public and will combine information about major wildlife and conservation issues with opportunities for attendees to share what they are seeing and what they believe state leaders need to understand.
East Tennessee is home to some of the state’s most recognizable outdoor resources, from mountain streams and trout waters to public lands, forests and the Tennessee River. Those resources support hunting, fishing, tourism, recreation and a way of life that remains deeply connected to the outdoors.
