CLEVELAND, Ohio — September is beginning with a decidedly summerlike combination across Northeast Ohio: temperatures near 90 degrees, oppressive humidity and several chances for thunderstorms that could turn severe.
A heat advisory begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday for Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina and Summit counties, along with communities farther west and south. Highs will reach the upper 80s to low 90s Tuesday, while the humidity pushes heat index values into the upper 90s to around 100 degrees.
