ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – With the exception of emergency services and solid waste services, all Alachua County government offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.
Residential curbside collection of solid waste, recycling, and yard trash will continue on its regular schedule and will not be affected by the holiday. The Hazardous Waste Collection Center and the Leveda Brown Environmental Park and Transfer Station also will be open during their regularly scheduled hours on Monday…
