SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Both women accused of kidnapping a baby from a central Sioux Falls apartment last year have now been sentenced. We first told you about this case in March of 2025-that’s when an Amber Alert went out for a missing 1-year-old. The baby was found safe the next day.
Court documents say Lelana Sitting Up and Tianna Bluebird took the baby from his grandmother. Sitting Up was also accused of pointing a gun at the grandmother. The two were originally charged with kidnapping.
On March 14th, 2025, some people woke up to an Amber Alert notifying them of a missing baby.
