SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the theme for the upcoming Salt Lake Temple Celebration, as the temple reopens in 2027 after years of renovations.
The Church also announced that reservations are open for public tours of the temple, through TempleSquare.org or the Temple Square App. The Church will continue to release tickets throughout the process, so don’t worry if you’re not able to get one immediately.
President Dieter Uchtdorf, the chairman of the Salt Lake Temple Celebration, announced the theme of the celebration: Rejoice in Christ, which will be included throughout the exhibits at the celebrations.
