Springfield celebrates 10-year anniversary of Springfield Flame at upcoming block party

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The City of Springfield is inviting residents to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Springfield Flame, a 62-foot sculpture situated at Springfield’s northern gateway.

The commemoration will take place at The Block Party, an annual event organized independently from the city, which will be held across downtown Springfield on Saturday, Sept. 12, and will feature food, music, activities and opportunities for local organizations to connect with community members.
