A Vancouver driver who allegedly plowed into a stopped Portland police cruiser was arrested and accused of DUII on Monday, officials said.
An officer spotted Avtar Singh, 56, slumped over inside a Jeep stopped in the middle of North Princeton Street around 6:40 p.m. Monday, a news release from Portland police said.
The officer, who was driving west on North Princeton Street, stopped to investigate, whereupon Singh accelerated and slammed into the police cruiser at about 10 mph, the news release said…
