The Anne Arundel County Department of Health is seeking anyone who may have come in contact with a raccoon found in Millersville or a bat found in Annapolis. Both animals tested positive for rabies on August 31, 2026.
The bat was discovered at a business on State Circle in Annapolis. The raccoon was found near W. Pasadena Road near Drexel Drive in Millersville.
