EAST LANSING, Mich. — For the third time in the last decade, Tom Izzo is bringing in four freshmen in the same recruiting class. Jasiah Jervis, Julius Avent, Carlos Medlock Jr., and Ethan Taylor said they were attracted by Michigan State’s culture and the coach who built it.
“I kind of like the old school coaches. They’re really hard on you. They want you to push your limit. They want you to get better at the end of the day too,” Medlock said.
