A report of a person being shot inside a Westchester County home prompted a large police response — however, the emergency was a hoax, authorities said.
Yonkers Police responded to a residential address on Ashburton Avenue shortly after noon on Tuesday, Sept. 1, following a report that someone had been shot inside, the department told Daily Voice.
