LILLINGTON, N.C. (WNCN) — In a world often divided by lines on a map, a local non-profit organization is proving that compassion knows no boundaries.
Crossing All Borders Ministries, based out of Harnett County, North Carolina, has become a beacon of hope for vulnerable communities both down the street and across the globe. The organization began with an idea and dream by the founder in Sunday school class more than 40 years ago, that’s when founder Joeth Strickland began helping others.
Roots with Purpose was the CBS 17 3-Degree Guarantee charity for August 2026. Every day that the CBS 17 Storm Team got the forecast high temperature correct within three degrees, CBS 17 & Michael & Son Home Services donated $100 to the organization.
