EUGENE, Ore. – Three local convenience stores cut energy use and emissions through a pilot project led by the City of Eugene and BRING.
The City and BRING received a $9,200 Catalyst Grant from the Urban Sustainability Directors Network in late 2025. Through BRING’s Rethink Business program, the three stores leveraged an additional $6,800 through local utility rebates from Eugene Water and Electric Board and national “green business” grants, bringing the total investment to nearly $16,000.
