Now the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office wants the public’s help putting a name to the face caught on the shop’s surveillance footage.
The theft happened at a restaurant along the historic Edgewood Avenue South corridor, according to a Jax Sheriff’s Office post billed as this week’s “Wanted Wednesday” appeal. JSO says the suspect — dubbed the “mobile menace” in the agency’s post — spotted the phone sitting unattended on the counter, snatched it, and ran from the restaurant.
