The Lafayette Parish Coroners Office has confirmed the manner of death of a severely decomposed body found at a demolition site in Lafayette last week.
The body of a male decedent was recovered on Thursday, Aug. 27, at a former La Quinta Inn being demolished at 2100 NE Evangeline Thruway. An autopsy performed on the body found that the manner of death was natural, with no indications of homicide, according to Lafayette Police.
