ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Penguins, turtles, and more. Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has announced the new special shape balloons expected to make an appearance at this year’s event.
There’ll be 13 new shapes total. You can find them below.
There will be a total of 117 special shapes at this year’s fiesta, which is slated for Oct. 3 to Oct. 11.
Also, this year there will be special shape balloons representing the following countries: Milton” from Canberra, Australia; “Hug a Bear” from Waasmunster, Flanders, Belgium; and “Diamond” from North Macedonia. Other special shape balloon teams will convene in Albuquerque from Canada, Mexico, Germany, Brazil, and more…
