Friday, August 28 marked Officer Darien Lavino’s last day with the Chelsea Police Department as she begins an exciting new chapter in her career with the Trial Court Probation Department.
“Although she is leaving our agency, she will continue serving the community and contributing to the criminal justice system in a new capacity,” said Chelsea Police Chief Keith Houghton. “I want to take a moment to thank Officer Lavino for everything she has brought to our department. Her high energy, compassion, and genuine commitment to helping others have made a lasting impression on the people she has served and on all of us who have had the privilege of working alongside her.”
