CLEVELAND (WJW) — The U.S. NavyBlue Angels arrived at Burke Lakefront Airport on Wednesday, Sept. 2, ahead of the annual Cleveland National Air Show, bringing precision aerial maneuvers to the city’s downtown waterfront for the Labor Day holiday weekend.
The three-day event runs Saturday through Monday, featuring daily flight demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For the flight team’s leadership, the trip marks a first-time experience in Northeast Ohio.
“I’ve heard nothing but incredible things,” said Capt. Adam Bryan, commanding officer and flight leader for the Blue Angels. “We have the city and the lakefront as the backdrop, so it’s kind of unique. Lots of different places to watch the show from for all the different acts, but honestly the best place is right here at the airfield.”…
