CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — After multiple law enforcement operations where dogs were seized, Cheatham County Animal Control is basically filled to capacity.
Shelter Director Brittany Sellers told News 2 that animal control has room for 40 dogs. As of Wednesday, Sept. 2, it is housing 37 dogs.
“We are borderline at capacity. Our occupancy is 40 dog kennels. We’re a very small, rural shelter,” Sellers explained. “We do have to keep some open for law enforcement, public safety calls, those types of things.”…
