Battleship Missouri Memorial commemorates 81st anniversary of World War II’s End

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Island News) — Today marks 81 years since the end of one of the deadliest wars in history.

For the U.S. World War II, it began right here in our backyard. On Wednesday, the Battleship Missouri Memorial commemorated the end with a ceremony.
