ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — Two Albany residents have been arrested in connection with multiple ongoing investigations within the city.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026 members of the Albany Police Department, assisted by the Capital Region Crime Analysis Center, executed multiple search warrants at residences in the City of Albany in the areas of Third Street and Quail Street, Second Street and Lexington Avenue, and New Scotland Avenue and Kakely Street.
During the execution of the search warrants, Mekhi R. Myrick, a 23-year-old male, was taken into custody at a residence in the area of Second Street and Lexington Avenue around 12:20 p.m. He was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun.
