HACC approves $4.5M deal to sell building as part of downsizing plan

HACC’s board of trustees has approved a deal to sell the Goodling building at its York branch campus, the first off-loading of property since the college announced plans to downsize amid financial difficulties.

The board voted in favor of a $4.5 million sales agreement with New Story LLC and NNN REIT (real estate investment trust), the college announced Wednesday.

The William F. Goodling Center is one of two properties, along with the adjacent Cytec building, that the college is actively trying to sell, HACC President Dan Lufkin said in a recent interview with PennLive’s editorial board…
