KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A repeat offender and documented gang member has been sentenced to prison after being caught with drugs and a gun in a Knoxville home, District Attorney General Charme Allen announced Thursday.
Judge Hector Sanchez sentenced 39-year-old Brittney Tyrone Goins, to 30 years in prison. Allen said The sentencing follows Goins’ conviction in July on multiple charges, including possession with intent to sell cocaine, fentanyl and gabapentin, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony and unlawful possession of a weapon by a violent felon.
