HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — A full-circle moment Thursday in Dauphin County: a cancer survivor-turned-children’s author returned to Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital in Hershey.
Once a patient there, Brady Lucas stopped by to inspire current patients by reading his book to them. The book is dubbed “Smiley’s Smile.”
“The nurses, the doctors, and being back to be with the patients especially, kids that are walking the same journey I once walked with my family, and now I have the honor to read the book that I published to help teach kids about cancer,” he said…
