September 12 event at The Farm connects Viking Age gardening and blacksmithing, Viking-inspired food and the Pensacola community with Vinlandferth’s planned transatlantic voyage.
After practicing their seamanship aboard a replica Viking ship in Denmark, members of Vinlandferth are back in Pensacola and preparing to share another side of the project at The Farm on September 12. The event will bring together Viking Age gardening and blacksmithing, Viking-inspired food and wares while raising funds for Vinlandferth’s planned voyage from Denmark across the North Atlantic and through North American waterways to Pensacola.
