Coral Springs Police investigated a former longtime J.P. Taravella High School School Resource Officer after several women reported inappropriate behavior and conversations of a sexual nature involving him during his time serving at the school, the department announced Friday.
The CSPD internal affairs investigation involving retired Coral Springs Police Officer Raymond Kerner has been completed and is now public record, police said. Kerner could not immediately be reached for comment.
Kerner served as a School Resource Officer at J.P. Taravella for eight years, from 2013 to 2021, according to CSPD. He retired from the police department in 2022 and returned later that year in a part-time capacity as a Seasonal School Resource Officer…
