ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Ursula’s Cafe, a nonprofit cafe and community space, announced its plans to close in the spring of 2027 after five years of serving the downtown Roanoke community.
Owners of the cafe say they have struggled over the past year with balancing the location and their personal lives.
“When we started Ursula’s Cafe five years ago, we always said we would do it for as long as we could, the best that we could. We have struggled over the last year or so to balance our Ursula schedule and our work life,” the statement reads.
