Fayetteville, N.Y. — Four men were detained by U.S. Border Patrol agents on a busy street in Fayetteville Friday morning.
Just before 8:30 a.m., a woman at Canal Landing Park called 911 to report what she believed was a kidnapping on East Genesee Street.
The Pompey woman, who was heading to Green Lakes, said she saw Border Patrol agents handcuffing several men and putting them into unmarked vehicles across the street from Freedom of Espresso. The coffee shop is next to a park with a playground. She asked that her name not be used because she feared repercussions at work…
