State again asks judge to force Manlius pediatrician to hand over patient records

Manlius, N.Y. ― The state Health Department is back in court to try to force a Manlius pediatrician to turn over patient files as it investigates the doctor over vaccination records.

The state filed court papers Wednesday asking Judge Gerald Neri to instruct Dr. Shareen Ismail, founder of the Alexandre Centre for Children’s Health on East Genesee Street, to comply with a subpoena she has ignored.

Ismail is facing 21 felony charges after being accused of fraudulently adding over a dozen vaccine records into a state database so that she could enroll her son in school…
