More than 50 city-owned vacant lots and buildings across St. Louis’s north and south sides were under consideration at a recent Land Reutilization Authority board meeting, as the city’s land bank reviewed offers from developers, nonprofits, and neighbors looking to put dormant parcels to use.
The August 26 LRA meeting agenda included 55 separate offers to purchase, spanning neighborhoods from Hyde Park and Old North St. Louis on the north side to Tower Grove East and Gravois Park on the south.
The heaviest activity was concentrated in Wards 10, 12, 13, and 14.
